A brand reached out for motion design. Wasn't sure about me so they asked for a 15 second sample on their product, Plattr. I wasn't even actively looking for work at that point, still learning. Said yes anyway.
Made it in 3 days. Sent it over. Waited a week.
Got ghosted.
Instead of scrapping it, turned it into a personal project. Kept building on it. More scenes, proper transitions, a full explainer.
The most fun part was planning how one scene moved into the next. Getting the transitions to feel intentional, not just cuts. That's where most of the time went and honestly where most of the learning happened too.
Got ghosted on the sample. Built one of my better projects out of it. Not a bad trade.
